I struggled for 1 month before I was sure that the pain was getting lesser. So I stucked it out for another month, and finally the pain went away. I did not want to get a root canal. Don't you hear that people who did root canal tend to have endless problems with it? However, a simple filling should be lead to a root canal that easily, like the doctor recommended. I would rather blame my pain on his unskillfulness.
I find Dr. Campbell to be fair and honest. He doesn't push to do work that doesn't need to be done, but does what is needed with care and skill. I definitely recommend his practices.
I highly recommend Dr John Campbell as a very personable, knowledgable skilled professional. I have been going to him for my dental care for over 5 years. He has always discussed options and answered questions I've had regarding my dental needs. He has also appropriately referred me to a higher level of dental care when needed. I recommended him to my husband and he is also pleased with his Experience with Dr Campbell
Overall, it is an unprofessional dentist with terrible customer service.
I went back there the week after the procedure, the doctor did not want to deal with me at all, he simply sanded my filling lower, threw me a specilist's business card, and told me to go get a root canal if the pain persists. The receptionist, which is the doctor's wife or something, was very unpleasant to see me this time around neither. She even told my husband on the phone that "if she does not like here, she can go somewhere else," when my husband called them to see what was going on after hearing my terrible re-visit experience.
I did one there. First of all, he didnot want to give me enough numb shots, then when I called out it was too painful when he was drilling my tooth, he seemed to be mad and gave me a whole lot!. Finally it was done, but the filling turned out to be hurting me for almost 2 months.
Terrible family run dentist. The father Campell John was very rude and had horrible bedside manners. They can do teeth cleaning alright (just alright, not excellent), but seemed to be poorly skilled at other slightly more complex stuff, such as teeth filling.
